Holiday Door Wreaths

Americans begin decorating the home for Christmas right around Thanksgiving, and the first and most basic welcome sign we display for friends and family is the holiday door wreath. My favorite holiday door wreaths are usually traditional decor with lights and bows, and branches. They often don't cost very much and range from sophisticated and natural to whimsical and homemade. When I hang out my wreath, I hope it makes guests feel welcome and dresses up my home for the holidays.

This year may be the first time our families and friend have gathered in a year or two, so decorating that front door with a welcoming sign is even more critical in 2021.

In Florida, I tend to avoid natural wreaths because they don't last. Some years my taste is very sophisticated and upscale, and sometimes it expresses my Florida lifestyle with tropical plants and orchids tied in among the lights. The most important thing for me is identifying my front entrance for guests and family and welcoming them to my home.

My favorite holiday door wreaths are colorful, affordable, and present the home's front entrance with style and color. I like them to be made of organic materials that will hold up for several years.
