Outdoor rugs come in an endless variety of colors, sizes, and designs. Picking the ideal outdoor rug is similar to designing your indoor spaces. An outdoor rug anchors the space and defines the purpose of an outdoor room by underlaying the outdoor dining table, setting the border for a seating area, or simply being a ground cover for a family picnic.
I personally picked TWO 4x6 outdoor carpets to anchor my patio space. (Rugs are available in sizes up to 9x18.) One anchors a seating area and reading corner. The second leads into the house. I do not need to add any rug pad or gripping tape to keep it in place.
The plastic weave design features a floral background, but the choices are limitless from geometric, floral, even Persian designs. My outdoor rug laid flat almost immediately. It provides a slip-resistant area on my tile patio that provides an additional level of safety when people are in and out of the pool.
Cleaning these outdoor carpets is so easy. They are stain-resistant, and they do not shed or fray.
One additional bonus that was unexpected, you can reverse these rugs for a whole new look.
